The Winter Athlete of the Quarter was awarded to Hannah Dilday and Haylie Engels.  These 2 cheerleaders are all around great leaders, teammates and give all they have to their team and community.  Way to represent your school and community with pride.

The 2011 EHS Winter Cheer Squad continues to demonstrate their excellence in the classroom as well as cheering at events.  They received a Distinguished Scholastic Awards by earning a team GPA between a 3.0-3.49.  Way to go ladies!!

February 1st EHS recognized their winter senior athletes.  We thank the senior cheerleaders for their dedication and commitment to EHS as students and athletes.  These ladies will be missed.  Good luck to them in their future.  We wish them all the best.  They are: Hannah Dilday, Lydie Schwab, Emma Turnbull and Haylie Engels. 

Thank you to the 70 future BULLDOG cheerleaders who participated in the mini cheer clinic on Saturday, January 22nd.  They did a great job!  It was a lot of fun and we appreciate the continued support of the Ellensburg community.

The 2010-2011 EHS Cheer Squad enjoys giving back to the Ellensburg community.  These are some of the community service activities they have participated in.

-September 2010, Tough Enough to Wear Pink at the Ellensburg Rodeo, raising money for Relay for Life

Our Fall 2010 Senior Cheerleaders are:
Hannah Dilday, Haylie Engels, Alex Gumeson, Kaitlin Pfiefer, Lydie Schwab, Amanda Stalder and Emma Turnbull.  We appreciate these Senior Cheerleaders and wish them well in the future.  They can not be replaced.  Thank you for all you've done and given to EHS.  

The EHS Cheersquad hosted the Annual Mr. EHS Fundraiser.  It was a huge success and a lot of fun.  Your 2010-2011 Mr. EHS is MAC MITCHELL.  Thanks to all our wonderful SUPERHERO contestants:

The EHS cheerleaders participate in numerous community service activities, cheer on all the fall sports and do a great job in the classroom as well.  The 2010 Fall squad earned a 3.463.  Way to go girls!  

The Fall 2010 Althlete of the Quarter was awarded to Lydie Schwab, Kate Doughty and Emma Turnbull.  These 3 cheerleaders come ready for practice, games and to do all they can to support EHS and the Ellensburg Community.  Way to go ladies!  Thanks for all you do.

The EHS Cheer squad hosted a cheer clinic for over 80 4-11 year olds on Friday, Septebmer 24th.  Thank you for your support.  It was loads of fun for everyone involved.

The 16 members of the Varsity Cheer Squad participated in CheerLeadership Camp at Central Washington University in July.  They walked away with a SPIRIT STICK and a LEADERSHIP RIBBON, as well as some fun new dances, chants and leadership activities they will use to keep our school involved in cheering on all our students at EHS.
